'Gondya Ala Re': Bhushan Pradhan's Real Life Mother Is In Tears Watching Her Son's Reel Life Tragedy
Bhushan Pradhan touched the audience by his performance as a freedom fighter in ‘Gondya Ala Re’. Fans have appreciated his performance on all digital platforms. One of his greatest fans is his mother, who may have not publicly declared her praises but her tears say a lot. Bhushan shared a touching video of his mother sobbing while watching her son’s sufferings on-screen.

This story is about the legendary ‘Chaphekar Brothers’ who assassinated W C Rand, an exploitative British officer who tortured people of Pune, to bring the plague of 1898 under control. His extreme measures were to forcibly enter houses, strip people openly and violently treat ailing patients. After the assassination, Chaphekar brothers were executed but they inspired Marathi youth to pick up weapons and fight the oppressive rule of Britishers.

Bhushan’s on-screen presence is very powerful in this series and it certainly moves you. His co-actors, Kshitish Date and Shivraj Waichal as the iconic Chaphekar Bandhu, and Pallavi Patil as the leading lady 'Durgabai Chaphekar' have also given their best in this series.
