Today is the birthday of the Marathi industry’s best veteran actress Alka Kubal. Alka Kubal has done many films in both Marathi and Hindi film industry. She has won many awards for her acting including the Rajya Sanskrutik Puraskar in 2013, V Shantaram Award in 2016, and many more. She has an amazing and inspirational career, having worked in so many films. Thus, we have decided to pick some of her movies that are favorites of her fans.

Her role in that movie is still famous to this date. She has done many hit movies, but she is primarily known for this movie.

Before Maherchi Sadi she did several films which are also among the list of her favorite films like Lek Chalali Sasarla and Vahinichi Maya. After that, her films like Aai Tujha Ashirwad and Agnipariksha were among her hit films, after Maherchi Sadi.

Talking about her Bollywood films. She has worked with actor Nasiruddin Shah in the film Chakra. She has also done devotional Hindi film Shirdi Sai Baba. Most of her 90’s movies were based on women’s humiliations and devotion to the god. Her recent most film was Dhurala, which released earlier this year. She is recently playing the role of goddess Kalubai in her Marathi TV show Aai Mazi Kalubai.
