Happy Birthday Sharad Kelkar: Here Are Your Best Marathi Films We Love!
Sharad Kelkar is one of the finest actors that the Indian TV industry has produced that has further gone on to make his names in Marathi, Bollywood, and South film industries. From starring in his debut TV show Aakrosh to wooing the audience with his breathtaking performances in Lai Bhaari, Tanhaji, and many more he has done it all. In order to ring on his 44th birthday, we bring you his greatest Blockbuster films in Marathi.

Sharad has managed to woo his audience with his brilliant acting crafts when he played the younger version of Raghu in the Uttarayan. The story is an emotional yet enthralling journey about the widower's Raghu and Durgi. Although the actor had a limited amount of screen time he made every minute of him on-screen show his worth and talent in the movie.

In this movie, Sharad essays the role of a documentary filmmaker who lands up in a tribal community to document their protest against the development of a project, goes missing. The story is about his wife and their children embarking on a spine-chilling journey to find him.

Chinu is the story of a cute Adivasi girl who has forever been surrounded and brought up in the hands of the natural scenic beauty but her attraction towards the urban life wants her to migrate into the opposite world. The film shows the vast contrast between what Chinu dreams her life to be in the city world and the harsh backsets she received in the city that is nowhere close to her delusional world. Sharad plays the lead character and has done proper justice to his role.

Lai Bhaari:

The all-time blockbuster hit of Sharad Kelkar, Lai Bhaari, is one of the highest-grossing movies of 2014 and to date, counts to be the most critically and commercially successful film. The actor plays the role of an antagonist named Sangram who is the paternal cousin of Prince played by Riteish Deshmukh and through his ultimate deceitful acts takes away all of his family properties and starts to torture them. The story further is about how Prince/Mauli will take his revenge against Sangram.

Well, other notable mentions of his good performance include Sangharsh Yatra, Youngraad, Madhuri and he is currently filming for an upcoming Untitled Marathi movie.

We at SpotboyE wish this charming all-rounder and versatile actor who is ageing like a fine wine, Sharad Kelkar, a very happy birthday!
