Oak’s ‘Hirkani’ is creating a buzz already and Sonalee looks amazing as Hirkani
Prasad Oak is successful in increasing the curiosity for his new film Hirkani with his promotions on Instagram. The posters and teasers on his Instagram were piquing the curiosity about who will play the role of Hirkani? Pune’s Chaturshrungi temple saw people turning up in huge numbers for the ‘Hirkani Reveal’ last week. This Hirkani was none other than Apsara, Sonalee Kulkarni. Prasad Oak shared a new poster of the film where he showcased his Hirkani Sonalee Kulkarni holding a child.
Fans are looking forward to October 24, to witness one of the biggest chapters of history being retold on the silver screen. Hirkani is a story of a milkmaid at Shivaji Maharaj’s coronation fort Raigad. Hirkani was the mother of an infant who fell very sick one day.
Poor Hirkani had to leave her child alone and wailing to go for selling milk at the fort. That fateful night she couldn’t leave the fort before the gates closed. She realized that the only way out of the fort was an unguarded side of the fort which had a steep mountain slope that no man could dare to climb.
The movie narrates what must the mother have done to save her child, how Shivaji Maharaj pays respect to the courageous women in his kingdom.
