Actress Sumbul Touquerr Khan starrer Hindi TV show has gained quite huge popularity in such a short time, after its premiere in last month. The show is a Hindi remake of the Bengali TV show Ishti Kutum. It also stars famous Marathi actors like Gashmeer Mahajani and Mayuri Deshmukh in the key roles. Directed by Atif Khan, the show is produced under the banner of 4 Lions Films by Gul Khan and Karishma Jain.
Posting the latest promo of the show, actress Mayuri Deshmukh shared a glimpse of the recent events from the show. The actress also explained the latest plot in the story with her caption on this promo.
As mentioned earlier the titular character in the series is played by Sumbul. Talking about Gashmeer, the Marathi heartthrob is playing the lead male character Aditya and Malini is playing the other female lead character, Malini. The show has gained a great response from the audience, being one of the best woman-centric shows. The series has a nice story and character build-up, making it a perfect family entertainer Indian drama.
Imlie is a story of a small tribal girl with the titular name. Imlie is a hardworking girl who wants to build her own place in society. Her life takes a turn when she has to forcibly marry the journalist Aditya. Marrying the girl unwillingly Adity refuses to recognize her as his wife, as he was already engaged to his girlfriend Malini. The journalist takes his wife to his home but as a different woman, and then his family starts the preparation of his wedding with Malini. As the wedding day comes near, Imlie comes to realize that Malini is none other than the child of her father who left Imlie and her mother back at the village. But the things are not going quite well as the saddened girl feels helpless to do anything about her husband and step-sister’s wedding.
