Jitendra Joshi utilizes his famous character Katekar from Netflix’s famous Sacred Games to promote his new Netflix horror web series, Betaal. The actor plays a role as Mudhalvan, a corrupt construction contractor. Choricha Mamla star Jitendra Joshi stars in this series with series Vineet Kumar Singh and Aahana Kumra. It revolves around a century-old British Indian Army officer and his army of zombie redcoats breaking loose on Indian military forces.
In his promotional video, Jitendra Joshi poses as Katekar and he receives a call from Sartaj asking him if he is involved in any criminal activity. When Katekar denies, Sartaj sends him a clip of Mudhalvan negotiating an illegal deal with a military officer!
Jitendra Joshi rocked at the box office recently with Priyadarshan Jadhav’s Choricha Mamla soon after Welcome Home, Mauli, and Ventilator. Betaal is Joshi’s second stint with Netflix web show after the famous Sacred Games series. Betaal released on May 24 on Netflix. This series is directed by the Ghoul director Patrick Graham and Nikhil Mahajan. The show is co-written by Suhani Kanwar.
