Kasak: Priya Marathe To Play A Lawyer In Her New Web Series Streaming Now

Marathi star Priya Marathe chosen to play the role of a top-notch lawyer in Minisha Lamba, Vineet Raina, and Taniya Chatterjee starrer web series Kasak. This series is based on the heart-wrenching case of Aruna Shanbaug who was left with severe brain damage and paralysis after the 1973 rape and attack by a ward attendant. The nurse was fed through the nose to keep her alive but after years of pain, she died in the hospital itself. The Supreme Court had rejected a plea to allow her to die. The nurse was 25 years old when she was attacked and died at the age of 66.
Priya Marathe rose to fame after Pavitra Rishta and several Marathi projects like Chaar Divas Sasuche and films like Ti Ani Itar. Kasak is produced by Ullu App's CEO Vibhu Agarwal, co-produced by Dreamzz Images Studio and directed by Deepak Pandey. Stay tuned to this space for more updates.
