A while ago legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar tweeted her appreciation for the Marathi film Bal Gandharva. She praised actor Subodh Bhave and the whole team of the film for splendidly representing the life of Marathi theatre legend Bal Gandharva. She said she only met Bal Gandharva 2 to 3 times in her life. She said he was a very kind person. He even sang two Bhajans at her father Deenanath Mangeshkar's funeral. She said this film made her remember all those days and showed her some things that even she didn't know about Bal Gandharva.
Greatly moved by these praises actor Subodh Bhave and director Ravi Jadhav reposted her tweet showing their gratitude to her.
Ravi said that he is grateful that Goddess Saraswati herself praised him. He thanked her for her praises.
