Neena Kulkarni Plays The Role Of Dr. Vaze In Upcoming Shortfilm Dafan
After her hit, short film Raabta, renowned veteran actress Neena Kulkarni is back with her new and amazing short film, Dafan! Produced under the banner of Madmidaas Films, Dafan is a story that throws lights on sensitive issues like classism, labor, truth, and humanity. The short film is directed by actor-director Adeeb Rais. It stars Ahsaas Channia, Akshar Kothari, Adeeb Rais, and Neena in the lead roles. The film has been released today on the YouTube channel of Madmidaas Films today.

Announcing the film’s release and revealing her character from the film, actress Neena Kulkarni did tweet on her Twitter handle. As mentioned by her in the tweet, Neena will be playing the role of Dr. Vaze in this short film.


Her character has great importance in the film, as the story revolves around death. The story of Dafan revolves around a young assistant civil engineer Vishal (Adeeb), who has to cover the death of a laborer on his site. The story unfolds the situation where one’s morals and responsibilities are against each other. The topic is unique and it’ll surely make you think and introspect yourself as well. Talking about the story, it focuses on the decision taken by Vishal whether to stay true to himself or will he get entangled in the lies.
