Yesterday, the 13th president of India Mr. Pranab Mukherjee died due to a major disease. It was a great shock for every Indian. Earlier this August he was tested Positive for Covid-19 and he also had other health issues. While he was going through a brain surgery he went into a coma and his health got more severe with a lung infection and on 31st August sadly he passed away.

Many people, politicians, and celebrities paid tribute to him. Among them was actress Amruta Subhash. She shared a post on her twitter paying tribute to the late statesman.




This post is a photo from 2013 when Amruta received an award from Mr. Pranab Mukherjee. In 2013 Amruta was awarded the National Film Award For Best Supporting Actress for her movie “Astu”. Amruta looks so happy in this picture. 

This must’ve been a great memory and honor for Amruta, receiving the award from the president of India at that time. Amruta surely will remember this award for a lifetime.
