With everything being started in this lockdown. The entertainment industry has started getting back on track with various projects and new ideas. Film and Television industry began its work from the first unlock. And, now the theatre industry which seemed lagging behind, also took a step towards its start with the sanitization of theatre. Pune Maha Nagarpalika has taken a decision to open the theatres of Pune soon!

Recently, actor Sunil Barve took to his Insta to share this amazing news with a video. This great news has brought so much joy to the theatre artists of Maharashtra.
The video shows renowned Marathi actor Prashant Damle having a talk with the mayor of Pune, Murlidhar Mohol, and other officers from Pune Maha Nagarpalika. Further in this video, they've shown how the sanitization of theatres is being done. As Sunil mentioned in his caption, the Balgandharva Rang Mandir, Yashwantrao Chavan Natyagruha Kothrud, and Sathe Natygruha are being opened for the audience.

It is nice to see that finally the long waiting audience and drama artists will now be able to enjoy the drama, after so long. This news has brought so much happiness to theatre artists and people are now waiting for the theatre openings in Mumbai. Looking at the new inventions in the entertainment industry, pretty soon the theatre industry will also see a major addition in the form of an OTT platform, as announced by Planet Marathi.
