Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the most cherished festivals in India. People bring Ganpati Bappa to their home and look after Bappa’s murti till Visarjan. This period of Ganesh Chaturthi brings happiness and joy to everyone because everyone comes together and celebrates Bappa’s arrival. Everyone has a unique way of welcoming Bappa like playing dhol and other instruments, cracking fireworks, etc.
Director Ravi Jadhav also celebrated Bappa’s arrival in a unique way. His wife Meghana Jadhav did a dance performance on one of the best Ganpati songs “Gajanana Shree Ganraya”. Ravi shared this performance on his IGTV videos.
Meghana has given a great performance on Bappa’s arrival. Her graceful moves and beautiful expressions are matching the song perfectly. Her traditional saree look is also perfect for this folk style of dance. Ravi mentioned in his caption that Meghana did this performance without being prepared for it. For a performance that has not been prepared, Meghana has done quite a great job. And as we can see from the caption, Ravi is proud of her performance.
Jadhav also says in his caption that, every year they celebrate Bappa’s arrival with a special program. But due to Covid-19 this year they weren’t able to celebrate as usual and had to cancel all the plans. And therefore Meghana did this unprepared yet so beautiful performance in front of Bappa. This performance of her has brought joy in Bappa’s arrival and everyone loved it so much.
Ravi also shared an IGTV video 3 days ago about making his Bappa’s murti. He said that he and his family had been making Bappa’s murti at home for the last 18 years and they also do its Visarjan at home. What a great way to celebrate our most loved festival in an eco-friendly way. Ravi’s unique way of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi is an inspiration for all of us.
