‘Sairat’ fame Rinku Rajguru has become an icon of confidence and dashing personality in Marathi girls. She played strong female characters in ‘Sairat’ and ‘Kagar’ that challenged society and its perception of what is acceptable. She portrayed a strong woman, a free-spirited girl, a dreamer and a girl who works hard to achieve what she dreams.
She will now be seen challenging one more perception of the society in her upcoming film ‘makeup’. In this film, she portrays the role of a woman who does everything that is not acceptable for a girl in view of modern society, A dashing Rinku gets drunk, curses, fights, ends up hungover at her fiancee’s apartment, curses the world in a half-drunk state from a half-constructed building, etc.
Rinku Rajguru recently took it to Instagram to share her views about ‘Makeup’. Not just the one women put on their skin for glamour, but the one they use as a mask to face different situations. A different ‘you’ for every situation. This is not a facade behind which the women hide, this is a mask of security that they own! The one that is a weapon for beauty and for confidence.
