Rishi Kapoor Passes Away: Marathi Celebrities Mourn The Loss Of Their Favourite Legendary Veteran Actor 'Chintuji'
Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor aka Chintuji, who has amassed a huge fan base with his glorious career spanning over four decades, died earlier today in Mumbai. The actor was battling cancer for over a year and was admitted to the hospital recently. He was 67 as he breathed his last in Mumbai’s H N Reliance. Actors from the Marathi TV industry have paid tribute to the actor.

Sai Tamhankar wrote, “Cinema and Twitter will never ever be charming and funny again”.


Mazhya Navryachi Bayko actor Abhijeet Khandkekar said, “And we lost the innocence and charm too...Rishi Kapoor sir".


Bigg Boss Marathi 2 winner Shiv Thakre wrote “Just getting news of the passing of Rishi Kapoor sir... very bad morning yar...Don't know what is happening...Kya najar laga gai Bollywood industry ko humare ..."A very Charming personality and Best Actor" May his soul rest in peace and om Shanti” 


Actress Veena Jagtap wished for peace and wrote “Can 2020 Be Any Worse...❌❌ Wish u All Peace Sir... We Hope That You Are In A Better Place Rest In Peace Rishi Sir”. 


Shashank Ketkar posted Rishi and Nitu Kapoor’s picture together and wrote, “End of an era” 


The sad news came soon after the demise of Irrfan Khan. Some actors wrote a deeply saddened eulogy. 

The Miss You mister star Siddharth Chandekar posted Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan’s picture from D-day and wrote, “May your journey be peaceful..Don't worry about us...Will manage somehow” 


Sonalee Kulkarni responded to the superstar’s sad demise and said, “They must be in a better place"
