Spruha Joshi who plays ‘Pallavi’ in Sanjay Dutt's recently released film 'Baba', posted pictures from the premiere show of this film. Looking elegant and sophisticated in a blue ‘A Line’ formal maxi dress, Spruha poses with the child actor Aryan, co-star and on-screen husband Abhijeet Khandkekar and the entire cast of ‘Baba’.

A multi talented personality, an actor, writer, poet, lyricist and host Spruha, started her career from films but later on moved to plays, her character 'Uma Band' in 'Agnihotra', gave Spruha the limelight. Her 'Ramabai Ranade' character established Spruha as a versatile actor. Spruha came to be known for her hosting skills after her stint in 'Sur Nava Dhyas Nava, Chote Surveer'.


Last year was a success for Spruha, with her role in 'Home Sweet Home'. She is known for her theatre performance, light comedy and romantic appearances in films like ‘Welcome Home’, ‘Lost and Found’ and ‘& Jara Hatke’. In ‘Baba’ Spruha plays the role of a woman who is going through separation from her biological child. Her character is emotionally intense in this film 'Baba', which is a globally successful Marathi film.
