Shalmali - The Singer Is All Set To Debut As A Music Composer For The Film ‘June’
The popular singer Shalmali who has given us many hit songs is now debuting as a music composer. Her fans will be able to enjoy her work as a music composer for the film ‘June’ featuring Nehha Pendse and Siddharth Menon
Shalmali , we all know her for her dulcet singing. She is a popular playback singer who predominantly sings for Hindi and Marathi films. Shalmali has always been able to be in the limelight be it for her singing, dancing or her fashion statement. This time we are going to experience more than her singing talent as she is all set to debut as a music composer for the film ‘June’. The film starring Nehha Pendse and Siddharth Menon is scheduled to be released in 2020.
The film ‘June’ is directed by Vaibhav Khisti and Suhrud Godbole. Announcing her debut as a music composer in the film, Shalmali took to her social media where she shared a post along with the film’s poster. She captioned the post as “A new journey as Music Composer begins with this beautiful film named June.. @nikmahajan thank you so much for entrusting me with this role and having the kind of faith you have in me. I am blessed to have you in my life. I will work tirelessly to deliver my best to you and this film! All the best to the cast and crew! Let’s do this.”
Shalmali who is praised for her singing style, made her Bollywood playback singing debut with the song “Pareshan” from film ‘Ishaqzaade’ in 2012. The song was an instant hit topping the charts across India and Shalmali won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer for this song.
