Shriya Pilgaonkar Celebrates One Year To The Filming Of House Arrest With Quarantine
Netflix India churned out the amazing Indian original comedy in 2019 called House Arrest. While the plot of the film shows how Ali Fazal is on a compulsory self-quarantine and Shriya Pilgaonkar, a reporter is doing research on what leads to a man choose this odd lifestyle for himself. Turns out the bizarre lifestyle of self-quarantine that was being filmed a year ago, is actually a lifestyle of the world in 2020!

While last year people wondered how can one survive this, the audience can connect the dots of this eery coincidence. House Arrest, stars Ali Fazal and Shriya Palgaonkar released on 15th November 2019. This was pretty much the time when the coronavirus breakout must have occurred in Wuhan!

Shriya took it to Instagram to share this spooky coincidence and writes to the makers, “Quite bizarre to think that last year this time we were filming House Arrest. Clearly you guys saw it coming @samitbasu @ghoshshashanka @netflix_in 🤭🙃. I hope everyone is still being patient and doing their duty of staying indoors. I say duty because we truly can’t be selfish here. The house arrest must carry on until further notice. I’ve been binge-watching and binging 😅And you? #HouseArrest #Netflixoriginal #Throwback #reelandreal #quarantine”.

The post has a series funny scenes and interactions between Ali Fazal, Shriya Pilgaonkar and the cast and makers! The internet also broke into a wave of excitement because of this bizarre coincidence. This unusual comedy also stars Jim Sarbh and Barkha Singh. It is directed by Shashanka Ghosh of Veere Di Wedding fame and debutante director Samit Basu who is a popular novelist.
