This Hirkani was none other than M-town’s Apsara Sonalee Kulkarni. Sonalee took it to Instagram to share a few glimpses of the look reveal.

This October 24, you will witness one of the biggest chapters of history being retold on the silver screen. Hirkani is a story of a milkmaid at Shivaji Maharaj’s coronation fort Raigad. Hirkani was the mother of an infant who fell very sick one day. Poor Hirkani had to leave her child alone and wailing to go for selling milk at the fort. That fateful night she couldn’t leave the fort before the gates closed. She realized that the only way out of the fort was an unguarded side of the fort which had a steep mountain slope that no man could dare to climb. What happens when her motherly instincts kick in? Find out in the movie Hirkani.

The Marathi industry is proud that Prasad Oak and his talented team have resolved to narrate this incident with their best. The curiosity that lingered for more than a few weeks now is finally over, we know the actress who will play the role of Hirkani.
