Sonalee Kulkarni made her debut in Marathi cinema with the film Bakula Namdeo Ghotale opposite Bharat Jadhav. This film was directed by Kedar Shinde. Her claim to fame was only after the Ravi Jadhav film Natarang opposite Atul Kulkarni where she was a lavni dancer in rural Maharashtra. Her appearance as an Apsara gave her this title fame. The actress also bagged the best actress Zee Gaurav award for this film. Ever since she has made her mark in the film world with unique and impressionable characters.
Sonalee Kulkarni has given a number of hit films and plays in the past 20 years of her career. She from a tomboy in Vicky Velingkar to the Hirkani and from a Poshter Girl to a sculpture muse in Ajintha. The actress has done diverse roles in Grand Masti, Mitwaa, Classmates, Zapatlela 2, Rama Madhav, Kshanbhar Vishranti, Singham 2, and many more!
