National Award-winning director, Nagaraj Manjule will soon be seen as an actor in his upcoming Short film Taar. Two days ago the teaser of this film was released on social media. The teaser gained a great response from the audience. Amazed by the awesome teaser of this film, actor Riteish promoted the short film by sharing the teaser on his social media handles.
Riteish shared the teaser on his Insta and Twitter handles.
As the name suggests, Taar is a story based on a Telegram. This story is from the time of the Indo-Pakistani war in 1971. War has always brewed severe consequences in countries. Many soldiers lost their lives protecting their nation and loved ones. Before technology was introduced the Telegram was the only source of communication with their family for these soldiers. This Telegram has conveyed many good and bad messages from soldiers to their families. Thus, Taar depicts the story of a postman who carries bundles of such Telegrams and transports the messages from these soldiers to their families. But these messages also contain some bad news like, the deaths of soldiers who were fighting in the wars like 1971.
News like these has always brought pain and sadness to the soldier's family who has lost his life. And, this postman has become tired of being the bearer of bad news.
So what will happen next?
This question will be answered on 7th November. This Pankaj Sonawane directed Short film will be released under the banner of Illusion Ethereal Studios production. And, Nagraj is playing the lead role of the Postman in this film. With his amazing direction and acting Nagraj has given many award-winning films like Fandry, Sairat, and Naal. Thus, his fans are so excited about this short film. And, this repost and promotion from actor Riteish Deshmukh have given it an extra push of publicity.
