Upcoming Marathi Film Lalbatti: Releasing This Friday
‘Lalbatti’, a true story of a policeman, featuring Mangesh Desai in the lead role, is hitting cinemas this Friday on 'Kargil Vijay Diwas' 26th July
‘Ek Albela’ fame Mangesh Desai is a seasoned actor known for his strong characters in ‘Khel Mandala’ and ‘Ishq Wala Love’. He will be stunning us with his performance in an upcoming Marathi film ‘Lalbatti’ as a police officer.
Directed by Girish Mohite, this film is based on a true story about the life of a police personnel, Ganesh Dhangde, who was reunited with his mother after 24 years. This story is the journey of Dhangde’s hunt to find his roots. It has depicted the hardships in the life of a cop and invokes a feeling of respect and gratefulness as well.
Anil Gavas, Shailesh Dhanawade, Bhargavi Chirmule, Jayendra More, Prashant Mohite, Pradeep Ghule, Radha Kulkarni, and Suresh Chaudhary will be seen in prominent roles in this film. Santosh Sonrawdekar is the producer of the film.
This film will be released under the banner of Sai Cinema on 26th July, 2019 which is the ‘Kargil Vijay Divas’. The poster and trailers have created a roar of excitement in the audience just before the release of the film.
