A range of Marathi films presenting different flavors of ‘love’ is now screening release on the most romantic weekend of the year to make your Valentine’s 2020 special.
Chunky Pandey makes a Marathi film debut with Vikun Taak, a Sameer Patil film. Sameer who is also the creator of Poshter Boyz and Poshter Girlz. Produced by Uttung Thakur of Balak Palak and Yellow, Vikun Taak is a rollercoaster ride of comedy where Shivraj Waichal plays a boy frustrated with financial problems, who starts running a scrap online business in the name ‘Bhangarwala.com' with Rohit Mane. Somehow he gets involved in a kidney selling racket run by Chunkey Pandey an Arab man whose accent and double entendre seem familiar to his iconic character ‘Akhri Pasta’.
Daah - Ek Marmasparshi Katha
Yugandhar Creations and Aniket Rajkumar Badole present a story about relationships and trust in this film written by Satish Sonone. Suhrud Wadekar and Sayali Sanjeev is the leading couple in this film. Radhika Vidyasagar, Yatin Karyekar, Uma Sardeshmukh, and Kishor Chougule will also play key roles in the film.
Anna director Shashank Udapurkar makes a comeback with a touching, romantic story revolving around society, age and the journey of life with Prawaas. Ashok Saraf, Padmini Kolhapure and Vikram Gokhale, take you on an emotional ride of an elderly couple, now moving towards the golden chapters of their lives, ‘the old age’.
Marathi fans are sure in for a pleasant treat to their eyes on Valentine’s weekend. While one love story is for the Millenials one is for the lovers in their golden years and some comedy for the single ones enjoying the weekend!
