'Girlfriend' was a box office hit and garnered a lot of appreciation. Sai and Amey's performance, melodious music, the hotness quotient of Sai, Rasika and Isha and the BhaDiPa touch to the promotional campaign of the film, made the film a roaring success.
Audiences loved the relatable agony of Nachiket played by Amey and his quirky 'Girlfriend'. A boy who is single and laughed upon and a girl who is hot but her quirks are too much to handle, makes up a fun film 'Girlfriend'.
