Sunny Leone is currently making headlines for a controversial reason. For the uninitiated, Sunny landed herself in controversy after a priest had raised objection over her recent song 'Madhuban Mein Radhika Naache'. The priest had said that the song is hurting religious sentiments of Hindus. Netizens demanded a ban on the song.

Soon 'Arrest Sunny Leone' started trending on Twitter. A user wrote, "@BJP4Delhi @CMOfficeUP sir censor board mein ese logo ko allow he kyo karte ho aaj jo Hindu Gods k naam se itne gande songs banate hai. Pls take a very strict action against censor board of India for allowing such type of arrogance." Another wrote, "Sunny leone and all those song maker chamchas must be arrested if likes of these not understands then it will cost them dearly."

"Not only Sunny Leone but the Entire team should be arrested," wrote a user. Another wrote, "Bhart desh ma kisi ko bhi kisi bhi dharam ko thesh phunchana acha nahi hai sarib toshi ko ye gana delete kar dena chahiye." On Sunday, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra demanded the removal of the song from all platforms. He warned singers Shaarib and Toshi to apologise or else face the consequences.

The music label later released a statement that read, "In light of the recent feedback & respecting the sentiments of our fellow countrymen, we will be changing the lyrics & the name of the song Madhuban. The new song will replace the old one across all platforms over the next 3 days."
