The award-winning Music Supervisor on the movie ‘Gully Boy’, Ankur Tewari talks to Host Eva Bhatt about his eventful journey from Bhopal to Mumbai, from a Hotel Management course to becoming an accomplished musician, lyricist, screenplay writer & a music supervisor.
Listen to some insights about the role of a music supervisor in the industry today, his personal learning from stalwarts like Javed Akhtar to young rappers like Divine, Naezy & Kaam Bhaari & how he credits R.D. Burman for experimenting with world music & bringing in different sounds & flavours into ‘Bollywood’ music in the 70s.
The 'Apna Time Aayega' lyricist (along with Divine) has been involved with the music of various OTT series & movies like 'Made In Heaven', 'Guilty' & 'Yeh Ballet'. He also reveals about his upcoming album & his projects as a music supervisor.
