Zareen Khan gets candid about her latest song ‘Eid Ho Jayegi’ and talks about working with Umar Riaz
Bollywood actress Zareen Khan has teamed up with Bigg Boss 15 fame Umar Riaz for the music video ‘Eid Ho Jayegi’, which is sung by Javed Ali and Raghav Sachar. The melodious track was released on 28th April on the official YouTube channel of White Hill Beats. The song has already crossed 10 Million views on YouTube. Fans are loving Zareen and Umar’s cute chemistry in the song, which revolves around the festival of Eid. In an exclusive chat with SpotboyE, the Veer actress opened up about getting an overwhelming response for the song. Zareen also shared her experience of working with her dear friend Umar and called him an ‘easy-going person’.
Khan shared with us, “Honestly, I had an idea that the song will be a huge success because when we were shooting, there was a lot of positive response coming in our way. I am so happy and glad that the audience has loved the whole vibe of the song. I think it’s a perfect Eidi to all my and Umar fans. And, the kind of love and appreciation that we are getting is our Eidi in return from the fans.”
When asked what made her yes to the song, the Hate Story 3 actress stated, “The thing that made me say yes to ‘Eid Ho Jayegi’ was the fact that it was made for the EID. And, the whole team of the song was so talented and amazing. Especially, Javed Ali, I am a huge fan of his work, I love his compositions so the whole team behind the song from singers to production was so good. Talking about working with Umar Riaz, Zareen Khan said, “Umar has been a friend for a while now. Though we did not meet up that regularly. The first time I met him in person was at Afsana Khan’s wedding. But, we have been friends, who exchange texts so we were in touch. A friendship vibe was always there with Umar. The friendship and comfort that we share are showcased in the song, I feel that’s why people like your chemistry. It is easier to work with a friend because there is chemistry and comfort level. Umar is a very easy-going and fun-loving guy.”
Zareen Khan signed off saying that she has several exciting projects in her kitty and she will make it official once they will start rolling. She was last seen in the film 'Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele'. The movie was released on Disney+ Hotstar last year.
