Farhan Akhtar Will Dance To Amaal Mallik’s Tunes In Lucknow Central
Amaal Mallik has been approached to compose a number for Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming prison drama
As far as 2017 goes, Amaal Mallik is having a good year. The young music composer has delivered a popular soundtrack with the Sonakshi Sinha starrer Noor. Now we hear that the producer of Lucknow Central, Nikhil Advani, has approached Amaal Mallik to compose a song for the film’s soundtrack.
A source close to Amaal Mallik told SpotboyE.com: “Nikhil is extremely particular about his music and which is why he is keen on having Amaal on board. The best part is that Farhan Akhtar too is keen on having him onboard.”
Farhan and Amaal collaborated when he composed Sau Aasmaan for the film Baar Baar Dekho, which was produced by Excel Entertainment and the track went on to become a rage.

The source further revealed that Amaal has already presented the scratch and the track has been approved by the makers of Lucknow Central. As of now Amaal is working on the final mix of the song and will soon present the final product to Nikhil.
Lucknow Central was earlier in news, thanks to the massive set which was created in Film City, Mumbai, for its shoot.
Lucknow jail was recreated in Mumbai, with great attention to details and the sprawling set was spread over two acres.
Set against the backdrop of a jail, Lucknow Central reportedly stars Farhan Akhtar as a prisoner who forms a band along with other jail inmates.
Lucknow Central will mark the directorial debut of Ranjit Tiwari, who has worked as an assistant director to Nikhil Advani.
