Hanumankind Release His Single ‘Big Dawgs’ After A Year-Long Hiatus; Rapper Says, ‘Wanted To Create Something That Speaks To My Journey’
Hanumankind, one of Southern India's most influential rappers, has released his new single "Big Dawgs" with Def Jam Recordings India. This track marks his return after a year-long hiatus from the music scene.

Produced by Kalmi, a longtime collaborator, "Big Dawgs" features Hanumankind’s signature style with bold, self-assured lyrics. The track harks back to his early work, particularly the "Surface Level" EP, and showcases his lyrical prowess and confidence. With slick, self-absorbing rhymes, Hanumankind proclaims his dominance in the Indian rap scene, making a triumphant return with ‘Big Dawg’.

Reflecting on his return, Hanumankind said, "It feels great to be releasing music after a while. The last release was Go to sleep, which was well over a year ago.  We made big dogs way early this year, but it felt right to be the next release- The energy, the power, the grit. We wanted to create something that speaks to my journey and to that of all the others taking risks in life.

Kalmi, the producer behind "Big Dawgs," shared his thoughts on the collaboration, "Working with Hanumankind is always a great experience and it was fun working with him for 'Big Dawgs'.  We’ve both have evolved since our early projects but our passion and commitment to Hip-Hop remains. This track is raw, unapologetic, and truly a testament to Hanumankind’s talent and resilience. I’m excited for the world to hear what we've created together.

"With "Big Dawgs," Hanumankind and Kalmi have crafted a track that not only celebrates their musical journey but also sets a new benchmark for the Indian rap scene.
