Singing sensation Neha Kakkar turns a year older today and will celebrate her quarantine birthday with her family. The celebrated singer who turned 32 today, has lent her melodious voice to many songs including chartbusters like O Saki Saki, Aankh Marey, Coca Cola song, Dheeme Dheeme, Garmi, Dilbar, Kala Chashma among others. During quarantine, Neha Kakkar and her brother Tony Kakkar have been giving their fans an insight into their lives via music videos series Story Of Kakkars.
A day before her birthday, Neha Kakkar dropped the 2nd chapter of Story Of Kakkars which sees pictures of baby Kakkars with their parents. Birthday girl Neha took to Insta to inform her fans about the 2nd video of Story Of Kakkars. Sharing the poster, the Kala Chashma singer captioned it, “5th June StoryOfKakkars Chapter 2 Releases Exactly a Day before My Birthday #NehaKakkar @tonykakkar @sonukakkarofficial #TonyKakkar #SonuKakkar #KakkarSiblings #KakkarFamily”
The almost 3-minute long video opens to the streets of Rishikesh, the native of Kakkar family. It then soon moves to Neha Kakkar’s stage shows. The video also consists of pictures and videos of Sonu, Neha and Tony Kakkar. The song, crooned by Neha, will give you goosebumps. Tony, on the other hand, raps their journey.
During an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Neha’s brother and singer Tony Kakkar revealed some interesting facts about his sister too. He stated, “In all these years, one thing has not changed and that is Neha’s excitement for her own birthday. Like a little kid, she still waits for presents and as her birthday nears, she asks us to keep an eye on couriers and parcels so that nothing is missed. Further, walking down the memory lane Tony reminisced how they used to celebrate her birthday when kids. “We came to Mumbai only a few years back and lived in Rishikesh before that. Birthday parties that time used to be quite simple and effortless but mom and dad ensured every year that we cut a cake or bring pastries at least. Some of our friends from the neighbourhood used to come and have snacks, sing birthday songs, and dance,” said birthday girl’s brother.
