Finally the much-awaited movie of Anurag Basu, Ludo is set to release on Netflix and makers are not leaving any stone unturned. After a catchy number titled Aabaad Barbaad crooned by Arijit Singh, makers have treated the audience to yet another refreshing track from the movie, titled Hardum Humdam. Sung by Arijit Singh, composed by Pritam and penned by Sayeed Quadri, this song takes us through the crazy journey of the onscreen characters. The mood of the song is quite upbeat and yet has a touch of old school romance.
Sanya Malhotra sharing this song on her Instagram account, wrote, “Netflix’s #Ludo’s #HardumHumdum, an old school love story of two true lovers, is streaming now on all platforms. Tune in now!” The song captures the imperfect love story between Fatima Sana Shaikh who plays a middle wife to search for her husband takes help from Rajkummar Rao who happens to be her long lost love. Meanwhile, Sanya and Aditya Roy Kapur are seen taking a road trip which has sweet and sour moments on their way to their destination.

Composer Pritam, speaking about the song, said, “The script of Ludo is very edgy with lots of intense emotions. Anurag wanted the songs to be sweet to create a buffer or a musical relief to give the audience a break from the intensity of the film. With director Anurag Basu sharing his take on the new number said, “The music is extremely important to a film. Before I start writing a script I have a playlist ready. Hardum Humdam is a truly wonderful song, has a meaning in every line and takes the narrative forward. Sometimes when you hear a song over and over you get tired of it, but I fall in love with Humdum each time I hear it. We always say we miss that timeless music and meaningful lyrics, Humdam is all that.”
