Neha Kakkar refutes pregancy rumours with hubby Rohanpreet Singh
Singers Neha Kakkar and Rohanpreet Singh tied the knot in October last year. In December, they shared a picture on Instagram in which she appeared to be cradling a baby bump. Soon rumours started doing the rounds that she is expecting her first child with Rohanpreet. However, the image turned out to be a still from their music video 'Khyaal Rakhya Kar'.
The singer has now addressed the pregnancy rumours in the first episode of her new show 'Life of Kakkars'. The first episode is titled 'Is Neha Kakkar Pregnant?' In the video, Neha talked about the nasty comments that came her way because many thought she was pregnant within two months of getting married.
She said, "Dekho, industry wale toh aise hi hote hai. Shaadi se pehle ho gaya hoga sab. Maana maine mera tummy motu ho gaya hai but itna nahi ki main pregnant lagu. Come on! Matlab Neha Kakkar bhi thodi chubby, golu-polu ho sakti hai. Toh main abhi bas golu-polu hoon, iska matlab ye nahi ki main pregnant hoon." The singer further said that she and Rohanpeet have no plans to have a baby for the next two or three years. "Hum dono ne bohot hi masti karni hai, bohot hi enjoy karna hai, bohot hi fun karna hai," said Rohanpreet.
Neha and Rohanpreet recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary. They jetted off to Udaipur, Rajasthan. Sharing a bunch of photos, she wrote, "And Thats how Our 1st Anniversary Celebration looked like! Surreal right? Thanks to each and everyone who made sure to make us feel special. Your blessings, posts, stories, your text messages, calls and all the love made us really happy. Much love #NehuPreet."
