Lata Mangeshkar HEALTH UPDATE: 'Legendary Singer Is Still In ICU But There Has Been A Slight Improvement In Her Health,' Shares Doctor
Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar, who has been hospitalised in Mumbai due to COVID-19 and pneumonia, is still in the ICU, said the doctor of Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital. However, there has been a slight improvement in her health.

"Singer Lata Mangeshkar is still in the ICU ward but there has been a slight improvement in her health," Dr Pratit Samdani told news agency ANI.

As per a report in ETimes, she will continue to be in ICU for ten-twelve days. The singer is being closely monitored and treated for both COVID-19 and pneumonia infections, however, she has not been put on oxygen and is stable. Her sister Usha Mangeshkar had earlier informed that the family is worried as they cannot meet the singer. She told Bollywood Times, "She is doing much better now. Corona ka koi asar nahi hai uspe. She has a little bit of pneumonia, congestion, which I feel should get cleared today. She is fine now and within one or two days she should get discharged."

The legendary singer's niece Rachna Shah gave an health update on Monday and told News18, "Didi is absolutely stable and is alert. God has been really kind. She is a fighter and a winner and that is how we have known her for many years. I would like to thank all the fans across the nation who have kept her in their prayers. We can see when everyone prays, nothing can go wrong."

"The doctors are doing a wonderful job," she added.
