Moh Moh Ke Dhaage Singer Papon Loses His Mother; Says He’s ‘Coming To Terms With What Happened’ As He Performs Final Rites
Moh Moh Ke Dhaage singer Papon lost his mother Archana Mahanta on August 27, 2020. The singer took to social media to share the heartbreaking news along with pictures as he performed the final rites. Papon also shared pictures of moments when his late mother was given the state honour. With the Coronavirus lockdown imposed in the country, the singer shared that he is grateful that he and his family got the opportunity to perform the final rites due to the ease in the lockdown protocols.

On Twitter, Papon shared pictures as he performed his late mother’s final rites and tweeted, “Coming in terms with what happened & doing what needs to be done. Lost Maa. But she gave us time to be by her side and maybe gave us time to ease ourselves to accept the ultimate loss. We are grateful to be able to perform the final rites&  carry on the rituals due to the ease in the lockdown protocols. Though we won’t be able to do the Shraadhho publicly as there are restrictions not have a gathering of more than 50. It’s our social responsibility to oblige to it. Thanking everyone for sending us love & strength to deal with the vaccum.”

The singer said that his late mother gave his family the time by her side and will hopefully give them the time to ease themselves and accept the ultimate loss. He mentioned that his family is grateful to perform the final rites and carry on the rituals. Papon mentioned that the family won’t be able to do the Shraadhho publicly due to the lockdown restrictions of not having a gathering of more than 50 and shared how it’s their social responsibility to oblige to it. The singer thanked everyone for sending love and strength to deal with the vacuum with folded hands.



Meanwhile, on August 31, Papon took to his Twitter handle to inform everyone about his mother Archana Mahanta’s sad demise. The singer mentioned that his late mother fought well and shared how they tried their best as well. In his tweet, Papon spoke about how much his mother missed his father since his demise and called them a pair made in heaven. Finally, after talking about the values he learnt from his mom, Papon concluded his tweet by sharing that his mother was given the state honour and mentioned how he wished that she knew.
