Rapper Badshah In Legal Trouble; Police Complaint Filed Against Musician For Using ‘Bholenath’ In His New Song ‘Sanak’- REPORTS

Bollywood musician Badshah has been making the headlines quite often lately. From releasing his songs to fake reports regarding his marriage being circulated, the rapper is widely being discussed on social media. Well, it seems like he has found himself in yet another soup. Recently, a police complaint was filed against him for hurting religious sentiments as he used the word ‘Bholenath’ in his recently released song ‘Sanak’.
As reported by IndiaTimes, the complaint was filed on Friday against the singer at the MG Road police station in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The Parshuram Sena has accused the artist of offending sentiments for using Bholenath, a word that describes Lord Shiva, in his new song that allegedly had objectionable lyrics. It is being reported that Santosh Singh, the police official in charge, has also confirmed to conduct an investigation into the allegation. He has also stated that appropriate action will be taken against the 37-year-old artist. The lawyer representing Parshuram Sena, Vinod Dwivedi, has claimed that the use of the word in the song has hurt the sentiments of the Hindu community. A group of individuals even protested outside the MG Road police station by burning an effigy of Badshah.
