Shankar Mahadevan has been hospitalised following heart ailment.
The singer, who is Delhi, suddenly complained of uneasiness on Friday (December 4). He was rushed to a nearby hospital and admitted in the ICU.
Shankar's manager Umesh said, "Fortunately, we sought medical help on time. The angiography reports showed a few blockages, which are being fixed."
So, have his music partners Ehsaan and Loy paid a visit? "I have stopped people from coming, because doctors are not allowing any visitors. What is the point in asking them to come all the way to Delhi?" Umesh quipped.
When contacted, Ehsaan, who is constantly keeping a tab on his friend's health, said, "He is better. I am waiting for him to return home."
