Singer Dhvani Bhanushali On Getting Into Acting: ‘Next Year For Sure; I Promise’-EXCLUSIVE
Singer Dhvani Bhanushali, who recently released her Navratri single, Mehendi, talks about her plans to get into acting
Dhvani Bhanushali is one of the most popular pop stars to have come out of India in the younger generation. She enjoys a huge fan following on social media and her songs receive hundreds of millions of views on YouTube. In fact, her music video of Vaaste featuring Siddharth Gupta, crossed one billion views on the platform, making her the youngest Indian pop star to do that.
For all her music videos, Dhvani not only sings for them but also features in them. One can notice the acting bug in her from those videos and she has had the experience of romancing some young men through them. In an earlier conversation with SpotboyE.com, when asked about her acting plans in the future, Dhvani had said, “It depends on the kind of script I am offered. If it resonates with my personality, I will definitely do it. At the end of the day, I am into pop and I would not want to do away with it. It has taken me a lot of time to get into it and for people to accept me in that.”
Recently, she was seen in the music video of her latest track Mehendi opposite Gurfateh Pirzada. So, ask Dhvani if there has been any progress on those acting plans, and she informs, “Next year for sure. I promise.”
Meanwhile, during her career, Dhvani has given her voice to many successful independent singles like Leja Re, Nayan, Radha and her latest Navratri track Mehendi, and also to film music with songs like Veere, Dilbar, Psycho Saiyaan, Sauda Khara Khara and Nachi Nachi to her credit.
