Bollywood singer Neha Kakkar, who has lent her voice for some of the chart-busting songs like Kala Chashma, O Saki Saki, Dilbar, Garmi, Aankh Maarey and many others to the list, has opened up on singer not being paid well. The famous singer, who was recently in news for her breakup with ex Himansh Kohli is making headlines once again. This time Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi singer has sparked a controversy by making a shocking revelation. Being a top singer in contemporary Bollywood, the Kakkar said that the industry doesn’t pay singers well. Bollywood singers are hardly paid any amount.
Speaking to IANS Neha said, “We don’t get paid for singing in Bollywood at all. They feel that if we give a superhit song, the singer will earn through shows. I get a good amount from live concerts, but Bollywood doesn’t pay when we sing a song.” Known for her humongous fan following, Neha is often seen on doing concerts worldwide. Some days back, Neha was featuring in a new track Jinke Liye.
Not many know while shooting for the song the actress had broken down. There was a scene where Neha was required to break down during the shoot of the video and the singer actually broke down. Speaking about the scene, Kakkar had shared, "I had to tap into some of my own experiences to do justice to the scene where I break down.”
