Every fan of television couple Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta is well aware of the fact how they met and fell in love on the sets of the TV show 12/24 Karol Bagh. The couple went on to date after the show ended and it was on Nach Baliye 5 where Ravi proposed to Sargun for marriage. Now, after 10 years, the most loved couple of the television industry, Ravi and Sargun share screen space for Badshah’s music video titled Toxic based on an abusive relationship.
Taking to Instagram, singer Badshah shared a glimpse of the music video asking fans to go check it out! Sharing the video, Badshah wrote, “TOXIC is out now on all platforms. @ravidubey2312 @sargunmehta @payaldevofficial @adityadevmusic @sonymusicindia.” The music video Toxic features Ravi Dubey, Sargun Mehta, Badshah and Payal Dev. The lyrics of the song are penned by Badshah, whereas the music is composed by Payal Dev. The music video Toxic sung by Badshah and Payal Dev focuses on the toxic and abusive relationship between a married couple who were once madly in love with each other.
During an interview with the Times of India, Ravi Dubey shared how it was great to work with his wife once again as they did not share screen space together in the last 10 years. He said, “Sargun and I have not shared screen space in a fiction set-up in the last 10 years, so it was great to work with her again." As Ravi spoke about his experience, Sargun Mehta shared how her husband is a perfectionist and wanted every detail right. Mehta shared that they kept reshooting as Ravi wouldn’t shoot until the time he does not get every detail right.
Meanwhile, during the lockdown, the couple managed to complete the entire shoot at their home with their phones, with Ravi Dubey directing it. On the other hand, Ravi Dubey proposed to Sargun Mehta on the show Nach Baliye 5 in February 2013 where they participated as contestants. The couple went on to tie the knot in the same year in the month of December.
