Daler's voice works well with the dhol-like acoustic elements which are the highlight of the song.
Haanikaarak Bapu, Dhaakad and Gilehriyaan became popular with their clever lyrics and the foot-tapping music and Dangal too delivers.

We had heard a brief sampling of the song in the first trailer of the film and the song pairs perfectly with the high-energy wrestling shots.
The film is set in the wrestling rings of Haryana where Aamir Khan proves his mettle as a young wrestler. Then the action moves to the international stage when his daughters played by Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra win medals for India.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal also stars Sakshi Tanwar, as the mother of the budding wrestlers and is based on the real life story of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and his daughters Geeta and Babita Phogat.
Dangal will hit theatres on December 23.
