The latest song from Rock On!! 2 is out and we’re sure it’s gonna be a rage among the youth. The track, titled Jaago, features Farhan Akhtar and Arjun Rampal among others.
While Farhan and Siddharth Mahadevan are the main singers, backing vocals have been rendered by Nihaal Shetty, Loy Mendonsa, Ehsaan Noorani, Shankar Mahadevan, Soumil Shringarpure and Siddharth. Shankar Ehsaan Loy have composed the track.

The film also stars Shraddha Kapoor in a pivotal role. The sequel to the musical has been directed by debutant director Shujaat Saudagar. Rock On!! which was released in 2008, was a big hit and marked the acting debut of Farhan. While he won acclaim for his nuanced performance, Arjun bagged the National Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role. Ever since the film became a hit, talks about a sequel were on. However, producer Ritesh Sidhwani had clearly stated that he won’t make a sequel until he finds the “right script to take the story forward.”
