Shehnaaz Gill To Shoot For Honsla Rakh Promotional Song On October 7, Confirms Producer Diljit Thind
Shehnaaz Gill, who is still grieving the loss of Sidharth Shukla, is set to resume work.
Shehnaaz Gill has not been in a state to face the camera since Sidharth Shukla's death. The hugely popular actor and winner of Bigg Boss 13 breathed his last on September 2, reportedly in his lady love Shehnaaz's lap. The two were reportedly planning to get married in December this year.
Shehnaaz has been in a state of shock and denial for over a month now, and has kept away from social media. She did not even promote the trailer of her Punjabi film, Honsla Rakh. The producer of the film Diljit Thind had revealed that the actress was to shoot for a song on September 15 but did not due to obvious reasons. The producer had also said that the team would wait till the time she fully recovers.
The producer has now confirmed that Shehnaaz is set to resume work on October 7. Speaking to Etimes, producer Diljit Thind revealed, "I was constantly in touch with Shehnaaz's team and they regularly updated us about her. She is a thorough professional and I am glad that she has agreed to shoot the promotional song with us. We will be shooting either in the UK or India depending on her visa."
The producer also gave an update on the actress' mental state. He said, "She has been through a very difficult phase and is still grieving the loss. It must have taken a lot of courage for her to agree to fulfill her professional commitment. She is like a family and that's the reason we don't wish to impose anything on her. I just want her to get back to her normal work schedule for her own sanity." Talking about the film, Honsla Rakh's trailer was released a few days ago. Shehnaaz Gill didn't promote the trailer of the film, but received a lot of love from her fans. Apart from Shehnaaz, Honsla Rakh stars Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa in the lead. It is scheduled to be released on October 15.
