Pollywood Celebrities Slams Media For Not Covering Protesting Farmers
They have posted a picture on their social handles showing wheat and weed. In the picture weed is given much preference in compare to wheat.
Farmers organisation across India are staging protest against the farms passed by the government. Many Pollywood celebrities have come forward and showed their support to them. Actors like Harbhajan Mann, Ammy Virk have even participated in the bandh organized on September 25.
But Pollywood celebrities have also slammed the media for not giving much coverage to a national issue. They are posting on their social handles a picture showing wheat and weed. They are calling it as shame.
Recently, Bollywood industry is very much in limelight due to the ongoing drug scandal. Many A lister actors had been questioned by the NCB.
Pollywood celebrities are complaining that media is not concerned about the plight of the farmers who are backbone of the economy.
On Sunday, President Ram Nath Kovind had also given his consent. Farmers have been protesting against the bill because they fear that this will not help them much.
Amrinder Gill had also started shooting of his song on farmers which will feature Ammy Virk and Nimrat Khaira.
