Punjabi Director Jagdeep Sidhu Turns Dialogue Writer for Anurag Kashyap's Next
Punjabi writer Jagdeep Sidhu has written the dialogues for the movie 'Saand Ki Aankh', Anurag Kashyap's next.
Jagdeep Sidhu is
one of the most renowned Punjabi movie writers and directors, who have written
story, screenplay, and dialogue for movies like ‘Qismat’, ‘Nikka Zaildar’ among
other super hit Punjabi movies. Now, Jagdeep is all set to debut in Bollywood
as a dialogue writer with Anurag Kashyap’s next ‘Saand Ki Aankh'. he has
written the dialogues for the movie.
According
to Times of India, the Qismat director Jagdeep Sidhu has written the dialogue
for the Anurag Kashyap’s movie ‘Saand Ki Aankh’. After writing blockbuster
scripts for Punjabi industry this will be his first Bollywood project.
Today,
Jagdeep Sidhu has shared a poster of the movie on his official Instagram handle
and he captioned the post as " This DIWALI... Born from you...Belong to
you...always feel proud whenever I write women's world".
Earlier,
he made his directorial debut with Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta starring ‘Qismat’
and has garnered immense love and appreciation from the viewers.
‘Saand Ki Aankh’ features Bhumi
Pednekar, Tapsee Pannu, and Prakash Jha in the lead role. The film is based on
the life of ‘Revolver Dadis’ of Johri Village in Uttar Pradesh. The movie is
slated to release this year during Diwali. Meanwhile, the shooting of the movie
is going on in Uttar Pradesh.
