The makers of ‘Surkhi Bindi’ have released the trailer today, and interestingly on this occasion, the writer of the movie, Rupinder Indrjeet penned a beautiful heart-warming note for the director, Jagdeep Sidhu.
The popular writer is not on social media; thus, he sent a personal thank you note to Jagdeep Sidhu, who posted the same on his social media handle on Rupinder’s behalf. In the note, Rupinder thanked the famous director for having faith in him, while at the same time, he appreciated Jagdeep for being too calm and kind during the entire process of the film.
His entire letter reads, “Dear Jagdeep! Since I am not on social media and I wanna make it public, so you can post it on my behalf. Thank you for believing in my script so much that you chose to stick with it after two huge films in your hands, back to back. You believed in the script when even I was losing my belief. A big hug for that! You waited patiently for those 10 lines to develop into 100 words to 80 pages when just life kept me busy. You pitched it across and made sure it gets made. Not just that, despite being a star writer you gave me so much freedom to express my vision and write from my heart, I can't thank you for being so gracious. You kept saying 'tu likh bas appan banawange', te tu sachion banati. My friend, I seriously owe it you. Also, a big thank you for being so understanding, putting up with all my stupidity and handling my madness and questions with so much calm and large heartedness. Genuinely, thank you! May God bless you with much more because your talent deserves all of it. Keep moving. You are inspiring so many like me. Much love! Rupinder Inderjit”
The film is slated to release on August 30. The movie features Gurnam Bhullar and Sargun Mehta in the lead, along with Rupinder Rupi and Nisha Bano in important roles.
