Widow Colony: Gippy Grewal Announces His Next Film; Shares Poster On Instagram
The film will be directed by Smeep Kang who has also started shooting of a horror comedy Jeonde Raho Bhoot Ji with Binnu Dhillon.
Actor cum singer Gippy Grewal, who has recently started shooting of Phatte Dinde Chakk Punjabi, has announced his third film titled Widow Colony. He shared the poster on social media. The film will be directed by Smeep Kang who has also started shooting of a horror comedy Jeonde Raho Bhoot Ji with Binnu Dhillon.
Sharing the poster, Gippy Grewal wrote, “1984” ਜਿਸਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਸੁਹਾਗ ਤੇ ਖ਼ੁਆਬ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਖੋਹ ਲਏ।" The film shooting will begin from 2021. The film is written by Smeep Kang himself. The film is based on a riots which took place in 1984 following the assassination of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
Meanwhile, after lockdown Gippy had announced his first film with Neeru Bajwa 'Paani Ch Madhaani'. The film is directed by Vijay Kumar Arora. He had also completed the shooting of Warning film. Gippy Grewal has a busy year ahead as there are six films lined up for the release.
On other hand, Smeep Kang has also two films--Jeonde Raho Bhoot Ji and Welcome Bhua Ji. Both the films will have Binnu Dhillon as lead star.
