Wondering Why 'Blackia'? Dev Kharoud Reveals
'Blackia' the upcoming Punjabi movie will hit the theatre soon. The makers of the movie have already released the trailer and now the lead cast Dev Karoud reveals the reason behind the movie title
Very recently the trailer of the upcoming Punjabi movie ‘Blackia’ starring Dev Kharoud and Ihana Dhillon in the lead has been released by the makers of the movie. The film is directed by Sukhminder Dhanjal. The movie will hit the theatre on May 3. The other actors of the movie include Arsh Hundal, Ashish Duggal and Rana Jung Bahadur.
However, recently in an interview with PTC Punjabi Dev Kharoud revealed why his upcoming movie's title is 'Blackia', he said that whole gist of the movie revolves around the black world of Smugglers. And in Punjab smugglers are known as Blackia.
Dev Kharoud is known for movies like Rupinder Gandhi The Gangster, Rupinder Gandhi 2 and The Robinhood as well. In fact, he has done a great job in his latest release 'Dakuan Da Munda'.
However, 'Blackia' will be the first movie produced under the banner of Globe Movies Pvt. Ltd and PTC Motion Pictures. And it will be releasing under the banner of Ohri Productions and the story of the film is penned by Inder Pal Singh.
