Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa finds himself in a legal trouble as an FIR has been filed against him under section 289 IPC. The allegations pertain to alleged negligence on his part in permitting his pet dogs to attack a woman who had parked her car in an empty space near the actor's Bengaluru residence. This incident occurred on October 28 in RR Nagar.
The actor has refrained from making any public statements regarding this incident. Darshan, who marked his cinematic debut in 2001 with "Majestic," boasts a career that spans over 50 films. He has often found himself embroiled in various controversies. Notably, he issued an apology letter to the media after a two-year ban stemming from a viral audio clip. On the occasion of the Varamahalakshmi festival, Darshan took a moment to reflect on his past and extended a request to put an end to the ongoing feud.
Talking about the feud he took to Twitter earlier and wrote, "Happy Varamahalakshmi to all the people of Karnataka, my celebrities and senior journalists, media friends. For the last two years, there was a rift between me and Kannada media friends. On the eve of this Varalakshmi festival, a discussion was held between me and the editors of major Kannada media under the leadership of my friend Rockline Venkatesh and the whole case ended happily."

The actor went on to emphasize that he felt no shame in extending his apology. He expressed, "There is no harm in offering an apology to the respected elder members of the media if my words have caused them any distress. Let us forgive the media, often referred to as the fourth pillar of democracy, for this regrettable incident. A healthy society thrives with a responsible and ethical media. I hold the media in high regard. My journey in the film industry has also been greatly supported by the media's affectionate promotion," he concluded.
