Harshika Poonacha's Husband ATTACKED In Bengaluru For Speaking Kannada! His Gold Chain Snatched And Car Damaged - WATCH VIDEO
Harshika Poonacha's husband faced a horrendous incident as he was attacked by thieves in Bengaluru who snatched his gold chain and even damaged his car
Kannada actress Harshika Poonacha and her husband, actor Bhuvann Ponnannaa, experienced a terrifying attack in Bengaluru's Frazer Town area recently. The couple was attacked by a group of men while speaking in their local Kannada language. Harshika shared a video showing a mob surrounding their car and engaging in a confrontation with her husband. The attackers were not only verbally aggressive but also physically threatening. Harshika accused the men of trying to steal her husband's gold chain and other valuables from their car. The couple's attempt to seek help from the local police was reportedly unproductive.
Harshika recounted the events of the evening, describing how the situation escalated when she and her husband were leaving a restaurant called Karama after dinner. While approaching their car from the valet parking, two men confronted her husband, claiming that the large vehicle could potentially hit them. Despite her husband ignoring the initial altercation, the situation quickly turned hostile, with the men abusing them in their language and even attempting to hit her husband.
Within a few minutes, the crowd around them grew to 20-30 people, with two individuals grabbing her husband's gold chain and attempting to steal it. Her husband managed to hold onto the chain and pass it to Harshika, but the attackers became more aggressive, damaging their car and attempting to harm them physically. The couple's ordeal was further aggravated by the attackers' disdain for the use of Kannada language in the area. The assailants spoke primarily Hindi and Urdu and expressed their anger over the couple speaking in Kannada.
Harshika expressed disappointment at the lack of support from the local police, stating that an officer seemed more interested in drinking his mosambi juice than providing assistance, even though he was located just two buildings away. This harrowing experience underscores the challenges of language and cultural tensions in the region and the importance of ensuring safety and support for all residents, regardless of their language or background.
