Before the second wave of the covid-19 pandemic arrived, it was announced loudly in January that KGF Chapter 2 would hit the theatres on July 16 this year. But now there is talk of changing the date.

The popular actor Yash starrer movie KGF 2 is among the most anticipated movies of this year. Its fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the Kannada film KGF Chapter 2. In such a situation, KGF Chapter 2 is trending on Wednesday due to the discussion of the postponement of the film's release on social media. In various media reports and tweets, the new date is being told on 9 September. However, no confirmation or denial has been issued by the makers till the time of writing the news.


The film critic Sumit Kadel has also taken to his Twitter to ease the hearts of the impatient fans and tweeted,"#KGFChapter2 could’ve got a theatrical release on 9th September providing covid is under control by then & theatres reopen across India. #KGF2"

KGF: Chapter 2 is a sequel of the 2018 blockbuster,  KGF: Chapter 1. The film, directed by Prashanth Neel, stars popular and talented actors, including Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, and Srinidhi Shetty in prominent roles.
