Kiccha Sudeep celebrates his 50th birthday today and on this special occasion, the actor announced the release of his next much-awaited film Kotigobba3. The film to release this year on the occasion of Dussehra.

On 2 September Kannada actor Kiccha Sudeep turned a year older. The Makhhi actor celebrates his 50th birthday today and on this occasion, the actor surprised his fans by announcing the release date of his long-awaited film Kotigobba 3. The official release date announcement was made along with a special birthday poster. After much delay, the film will finally release on 14 October, on the occasion of Dussehra.

Kotigobba 3 is directed by debutant Shiva Karthik and produced by Surappa Babu. The poster which was released today shows the actor in a very mass avatar. Madonna Sebastian who is making her debut in the Kannada industry features opposite Kiccha. The film also stars, Shraddha Das, Aftab Shivdasani, and Ravi Shankar in prominent roles. Arjun Janya has scored the music of Kotigobba 3.


The makers of the film took to social media account and announced the release along with a sweet birthday message. "#KicchaSudeep birthday special poster from team #Kotigobba3. To hit the screens for Dussehra." The film is a sequel to the 2016 film Kotigobba 2, with Sudeep and Ravi Shankar reprising their roles from the prequel. As per some reports, the film's satellite, digital, and Hindi dubbing rights were sold for ₹ 27 crores.


Fans who have been eagerly waiting for an update on this film have been rejoicing ever since the news broke out. Kotigobba had completed the shoot in January 2020 and was slated to release on 30 April 2020, however, due to the pandemic the film had to be postponed.
